A casual "What's my name?" approach, relating clues to sketches of 250 plants common to the Lower Great Lakes, by J.D. Lockrey; 150-page cerlox-bound book, published by the author in 1996. It was produced to invite the reader to enjoy the opportunity to establish a fun rapport with 250 flowering plants, most of which can be located within Altona Forest. CHECKLIST of VASCULAR PLANTS of PICKERING and AJAX

It is a 35-page compilation of over 1100 plants identified by Edge and Doug; the plants are listed in their respective 110 families, the latter including Ferns, Sedges, Grasses, Rushes, Herbs, Shrubs and Trees.
